I'm a belly dannce instructor and performer married to my personal hero! I have two children- a five year old daughter and a three year old son. I'm in school again after working for a few years in the non-profict sector doing grant writing and program development. It was little too beurocratic for me, so I'm persuing my childhood dream of working in health care. With luck and focus I'll be a Nurse Practitioner.  My biggest goal is to do service work with a program like Doctor's Without Borders.

Dance is my hobby and my favorite moving meditation. I practice Zen Buddhism in the Tiep Hein tradition (Thich Nhat Hanh's order of Interbeing) as well as the Episcopalian faith- yes, it works *L*.

My pet project is The Compassion Project. It's a way of spreading compassion and comfort in the moment without intruding on people's emotional space. The website for teh project is:
